Dock units
A Novoferm dock unit consists of a number of products that are required for loading and unloading in goods inwards and despatch areas. Products, which enhance speed, safety, efficiency and employee comfort when loading and unloading goods.
The dock unit is made up of the following main components
- a product that bridges height differences between the workfloor and the vehicle floor
- a product that creates a seal between the vehicle body and the door opening in the side of the building during loading and unloading
- a sectional overhead door
- protective products
- safety devices.
Products that bridge height differences
This product allows materials handling equipment to drive in and out of the vehicle safely and without delays. Novoferm's range includes:
- removable dock boards
- hinged, fixed dock boards
- hinged dock boards with balance springs
- hydraulic pivoting lip dock levellers
- hydraulic telescopic lip dock levellers
- scissor lifts.
