Electric locks from different brands
With our steel wicket doors, you have a choice of different high-quality electric locks:
- Solenoid locks (crank-operated locks)
- Motor locks
- Self-locking locks
We work exclusively with renowned brands such as Dormakaba, Assa Abloy, Eco-Schulte, EFF EFF and Fuhr Locks.
All our locks and brands are thoroughly tested in combination with our doors and certified on various functionalities, such as fire- and smoke-resistant, burglary-resistant, soundproof and bulletproof.
This ensures you have a safe and reliable solution for your project.
Anti-panic applications/escape solutions
For escape routes and emergency exits, we offer two types of anti-panic solutions:
- Anti-panic push bar
- Anti-panic push bar
With our steel wicket doors, both options are neatly built into the door and finished. You can choose from materials such as plastic, aluminium or stainless steel.
The choice between a push bar or push bar depends on the use of the building. In dark rooms with many people, for instance, push bars should not be used, as people can get stuck behind them.
There are also standards for escape route solutions that must be met:
- NEN-EN 179 - Panic stool
- NEN-EN 1125 - Panic bar or push bar
This ensures a safe and standard-compliant solution for your situation.

Automatic trapshooter
The automatic trap shooter provides additional locking at the top and bottom of the door, thus contributing to optimal safety.
The integrated release lever causes the shooter to automatically extend from 10 mm to 20 mm.
Ⓑ Push-core cam (clamping cam)
The push-core cam picks up the square pin of the door handle without any play and thus ensures reliable operation of the lock.
Executed in 9 mm, fire-retardant.
Ⓒ Automatic trap shooter
The automatic trap shooter provides additional locking at the top and bottom of the door, thus contributing to optimum security.
The integrated release lever ensures that the shooter automatically extends from 10 mm to 20 mm.

Different types of frames for optimal connection to walls
Basic frame types
The various frame types are tailored to the installation situation and any finish. For fitting a door
between walls, a block frame is chosen. And for installation against the wall, a
corner frame with an optional counter-frame as an attractive finish can be chosen. The images below show the most common
options. Various other frame types are also available on request.
Frame variants
Hinges
As standard, the door leaves are fitted with a three-piece bearing hinge and a spring hinge. This makes the
doors light to operate. All types of hinges are screwed to the door leaf and frame.
Nevertheless, they can be exchanged separately from the door leaf.
In addition to the basic hinge, made of steel, there is a special project hinge in stainless steel which is particularly suitable for
office environments. A 3D hinge can also be chosen. This type of hinge ensures
that the door leaf can be easily adjusted in height, depth and width.
Door closers
Novoferm has a very extensive range of door closers. If door closers are applicable, these
are supplied as standard with an articulated arm, with an optional sliding arm version. For two-leaf doors,
can be optionally extended with closing sequence control. The door closer is also available with integrated hold-open device (non-electric
version), smoke detector and integrated sticky magnet. Various other door closers are also available.
Lever handles

The premio MZ comes as standard with black plastic short shield handle/
handle garniture fitted with cylinder cut-outs.
The following fittings are optionally available:
- plastic black knob/handle set
- aluminium handle/handle and knob/handle set
- stainless steel handle/handle and knob/handle set
- aluminium security hardware with cylinder pull security, standard
for doors equipped with resistance class certificate
- aluminium pushbars (possibly telescopic)
The above fittings can be fitted with an anti-panic lock case and there is a
choice of short or rose shield.
Other fittings, e.g. long shield, are available on request.
Glazing (including glass and cover strips
Due to the increasing demand for energy efficiency, steel wicket doors are available with ISO glass with a
very low thermal conductivity of Ug 1.1 to 1.3 W/(m²K) according to DIN EN ISO 10077-1. The glass types are listed
in the table below.

Colours and designs
Steel wicket doors are supplied as standard with a
high-quality primer in Traffic white (RAL 9016).
As an option, virtually any RAL colour is available in powder coating or wet paint.
Baroflon coating
Baroflon is a durable coating for pre-treated substrates. This
lacquer provides excellent protection against weather influences such as sun,
wind, and (acid) rain, as well as against the influence of corrosion, cholorides and
chemicals. This coating provides very long colour and gloss retention. This coating can be supplied by Novoferm at
